We founded Ameer Kabob in 2010 in Wicker Park with one goal in mind: to serve the best Middle Eastern food, presenting the real taste of the Lebanese falafel and shawarma. Since then, we have established a loyal following using our expansive menu, which includes a variety of dishes such as falafel, hummus, baba ghanouj, kabobs and our delicious shawarma. Add our pastries of baklava or even chocolate cake into the mix, and you’ve got a full meal at your fingertips. That’s our goal here at Ameer Kabob.

"Their food is reliably the best "fast" Mediterranean restaurant. I say fast because they're not a fancy sit-down place in Greek town. Their prices are very very fair given the quality you get. I know some folks may not have the highest expectations for falafel sandwiches but this one is a masterpiece. It is SO flavorful and the falafel maintain their crisp exterior.
